Bi-annual ESCFS meeting 24/25 September 2010
Organised by : The Dutch Craniofacial Unit, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
We would like to invite you to the forthcoming European Society meeting which shall be organised in Rotterdam this September. During this meeting we would like to focus on reviewing the surgical results of techniques used over the last 40 years. Do we actually achieve what we promise or expect? How does our workhorse, the Fronto Orbital Advancement and Remodellation, hold up in the long term? Has the shift towards treating scaphocephalies earlier on in life actually lead us to achieve better results? How often do we close our eyes for a distorted facial appearance after frontal advancement in brachycephalic children?
Increased experience and improved ways of patient data collection over the years should allow us to slowly unravel these sort of questions. We hope you will be joining us in Rotterdam for this exiting journey! We would particularly like to stimulate non surgical and paramedical teammembers to come over since we will organise a parallel session especially for them on Saturday morning on protocols.
